Photography
Landscapes are what got me really Into photography. I started out with a Gopro I would bring on my hikes and take pictures from It to share. I started really enjoying It and moved over to DSLR. Like most photographers I would love to upgrade my camera but I am also happy with the one I have and the photos I have been able to take with It.
I haven't done a lot of product photography but It Is something I am starting to enjoy. This year I decided I wanted to start a candle business and decided I would take my own photos to market them. While they aren't perfect It allows me the opportunity to play around with different locations and show emotion and feeling In a product.
I have had my Part 107 for a few years now and I just love my Drones. I love being able to get shots I would never be able to get without them. adding a new dimension to locations and a clean perspective. I mostly use them for landscapes but have been able to use them for real estate a few times as well.
My goal Is to travel and take photos as I go. This map took me several hours to make and I keep making changes to It but I love It. Each year I update It and put It on my wall. The background Is made up of several of my favorite photos. In each state I pick one photo I feel represents my memory of the state well. Due to my love of nature I added stars for each of the national parks and add a tiny picture Inside the ones I have been too. Eventually I will print It out large enough to see the pictures Inside the stars. (It Is a very large photoshop file)
Stock Photos
Stock photos are such a crazy thing but they are so great! I have my degree In marketing so I get the purpose of them but for the longest time, I couldn't picture someone I didn't know buying my photo. I have sold a few now and I am committing more time to go through the photos I have already taken and upload them so people are able to find them and buy them.
